E. Jakarta Bazis Targets Rp 32 Miliar For ZIS Fundraising

East Jakarta Muslim Charitable Donations Board (Bazis) targeted fundraising for Zakat, Infaq, and Shadaqah (Muslim charitable donations/ZIS) in 2018 to reach Rp 32 billion.

We target to collect Rp 32 billion in this year, but we are optimistic to reach more than Rp 40 billion

In order to reach the target, various programs are done.

East Jakarta Bazis Head, Dwi Busara said, his side is optimistic to reach Rp 40 billion which is more than its target. Because in 2017, he targeted to collect Rp 31.8 billion for ZIS fundraising but the result, it reached Rp 41.4 billion or achieve more than 20 percent from its target.

"We target to collect Rp 32 billion in this year, but we are optimistic to reach more than Rp 40 billion," he stated, Wednesday (5/23).

Until now, his side has collected Rp 8.9 billion or 28.5 percent from target Rp 32 billion. He ensures to collect more and faster because of Ramadan month.

"In this fasting month, at least we can get Rp 4 billion. Other strategy is to optimize cooperation with majelis taklim, schools, and companies," he added.
